Linguistic notes:
Role shifting: It's very important to remember to assign various characters of whoever you're talking about of position 1, position 2 and position 3 and yourself as a narrator in the same spots every time all through out a presentation or a story or a dialog. Eye gazes are important in looking to the left or center or right - and for children or people below eye level to look down and when shifting to the other person to look up.
It's a juggling act to remember all these little important details when signing advance dialogs or stories - however the benefit is that it makes watching you all so much more fun to listen to!
Loan Signs notes:
Be sure to incorporate as many loan signs as you wish inside your advance dialogs. It will save you a lot of time, energy and shows you are comfortable now using advanced loan signs vocabularies.
If you ever get to watch fluent superior or advanced ASL signers - notice how often they use loan signs - many Deaf people who answer in one or two words signed responses actually use only loan signs the entire time!
Have a great summer and stay cool - some places have been very hot. Drink lots of clean filtered water.
Cheers!
